Elaine Kim

Elaine Kim has a passion for urban design that address systematic vulnerabilities in communities and planning that encourages social connections. She comes from diverse experience related to social movement building, sociological research, strategic communication, and design. Before joining CivicMoxie, she worked as a community organizer at the anti-child trafficking organization Love146, as an editor for a curriculum for planners in Colombia with MIT’s CoLab, and as a qualitative data analyst for the Interactive Institute of Social Change. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Tufts University and is a Masters in City Planning candidate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
