Emily is Executive Assistant to Founder and Managing Director, Susan Silberberg. In her past guise as The Out-Sorceress, Emily helped facilitate the busy lives of a number of private clients. A trained classical pianist and singer, Emily has worked in arts administration for The Met-in-Boston (Metropolitan Opera), for a NY-artist management firm in New York, and many years for the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Symphony Hall and Tanglewood. She even showed a bit of moxie one summer at Tanglewood by filling in as an extra percussionist playing the tubular bells at the end of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture.
Emily has a Bachelor of Music degree in piano from the New England Conservatory and a Master of Music in voice from Boston University. She also studied music and Anglo-Irish Literature at Trinity College Dublin in Ireland, holds diplomas from the Royal College of Music in London, and has taught and performed in recitals, chamber music, and opera on both sides of the Atlantic. She more recently ran her own personal chef business for six years, Aria Hungry…? The Singing Chef Personal Chef Services. A confirmed animal lover, Emily is owned by a well-spoiled senior rescue cat named Sophie and volunteers at the MSPCA shelter in Boston and for Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue.
